System Engineer (m/f/d) - Flight Management Systems for Airbus

We offer exciting projects at our renowned customer Airbus Defence and Space and we are looking for a motivated employee for the position "System Engineer (m/f/d) - Flight Management Systems".

Your tasks:

• Requirements capturing and analysis for military and civil
• Flight Management Systems and Flight Guidance Flight Management Systems concept and architecture engineering activities
• Design and development of FMS and automation functions to support integration of RPAS in general airspace Design and development of Flight Guidance functions
• Management of suppliers and sub-contractors
• Specifying and managing Verification & Validation activities, including laboratory, ground & flight test
• Support to standardisation and certification activities with international regulatory bodies and agencies
• Contributing to in-service support
• Involvement in research activities

Your profile:

• Completed studies in the field of Computer science, engineering, aerospace or a comparable qualification
• Experience in Systems Engineering is mandatory
• Experience in Flight Management Systems or similar is required
• Experience in UAV/RPAS (Unmanned Aircraft System/Remotely Piloted Aircraft System) would be a benefit
• Knowledge in design and simulation tools ( Matlab/Simulink, SCADE) is required
• Fluent in English
• German knowledge is a plus
